Current blood draw compromises the sample of blood - yielding an inaccurate result - adversely affecting Dx and Tx.
A blood draw via the 21cVA Technique produces a quantity sufficient, non-compromised sample of blood - yielding an accurate result - with an accurate Dx.
What is this STEM 21cVA Technique?
The veniCuff maintains the normal A&P of that segment of vein - protecting the integrity of the vein wall and a normal BP for that segment of vein vs. the forced over distention of the vein with the tourniquet.
Gentle touch results in a natural dilatation of the vein vs. smack, slapping, flicking, and tapping which causes a vasoconstriction of that segment of vein, not a vasodilatation. Gentle. Gentle. Gentle.
A 45 degree angle of needle entry is less damaging, less painful, and less friction grab and drag on the needle - it will glide right through the tissue without any gripping or shoving to overcome the friction of the 15-30 degree entry.
There's a new STEM palpation method for :
And a new STEM needle insertion technique
that prevents vein rupture and
minimizes vein wall injury:
